Art Gallery DANIQQI.art specializes in the graphic work of Alejandra Mallén, a popular painter from the Spanish Asturia region.

Alejandra is originally from Llanes, Asturia, in the North-West of Spain. She started painting when she was a small child. She studying Law, at the University of Salamanca. After she graduated, she found a job in Madrid practising Law, but never liked her job, because she very much missed painting so much. She felt again the call of colors, strokes, brushstrokes.

In Madrid, she painted every weekend and devoured exhibitions with her briefcase full of judicial decisions. At the age of 44, she left her profession and her whole world to go to a small village in Segovia, El Espinar, to fully focus on painting.

A few years later, she moved to the Calahonda, Andalusia, where she has been living until now.

DANIQQI.art is proud to have a few of her paintings in the collection. From our location in the Netherlands (Hengelo) we sell her paitings. We do not have many in stock, but there will be coming more paitings every now and then in the future.
